1. Can you tell everyone who you are and what you do here at SHIPSTA?
Hi everyone. I’m Joanna, originally from Poland, and I’ve been working for SHIPSTA since January this year.
I work as an Inside Sales Representative, which means contacting our new potential clients and scheduling meetings with them to explain what our product is and how our platform works.
2. Joanna, you are the epitome of an upbeat salesperson! How do you stay so positive?
I think this positive energy is in me, but it comes from our team as well! I love to start my job with the positive messages from the Inside Sale Team. Every morning, we send each other some funny pictures and tell ourselves “Go Shipsta, Go!!!!”.
Also, chocolate and cakes in the office every day helps a lot, too! With this as your motivation, would you stay negative? J
3. What do you like about working in the Inside Sales team?
It's the unknown! Every client is different. Every day is a big surprise.
It is never boring because you never know what will happen next. It’s a lot of fun to talk with ten different clients a day to learn new strategies and try something new. Every client is a new lesson, so we always go forward!
4. We loved the TikTok you made for the European Championship. But tell us, which football club do you really support? We won’t tell anyone 😉.
Actually, I should say Poland! But deep in my heart, I always support Croatia or Iceland, even if they are not top teams. They always put up a good fight and have strong teamwork! I can compare this to our work in SHIPSTA - we always work as a team, no matter what happens. Some of us have good and sometimes bad weeks, but we have our common goal to win AS A TEAM!
5. Where are you in this amazing photograph?
I'm at the top of a mountain in beautiful Austria. 😍
